Blog Post 5: Evolution of Her Space: Paisley Gets Her Groovy Back// 1963 Kenskill

It’s happened!

We have a trailer in our back yard!

When we bought this house with it’s giant back garden, we knew it had the potential for big St. Pat’s Parties and a perfect park up space for a gorgeous vintage trailer. We already started the annual Guinness Fests and every upgrade we have made to our outside has been with the idea that one day…. one day….

Looking all the way back to the first bit of work we did - which was to replace the chain link fence with a wood plank fence - Frank and his crew built in a removable portion along the side of the garage/alley cement pad to allow for easy access to the yard.

While Mike had cleared the space, my Dad decided it also needed a bit of DG (decomposed granite) 6 loads, I think. And then the fence needed a base board, the DG needed compacting and the tree needed a box frame.

So with all that, the dream has in fact come true! And now I get to see Paisley sitting down there along the back fence, and the patio with it’s pergola and the little tree grove with seating and umbrella for shade. More reason to love these 74 degree November days with the perfect backyard and soon-to-be restored trailer hangout.

Things are getting Groovy Baby!
